Customization in Action!

 

A leash and matching collar set was ordered by a female dominant for a collaring ceremony with her male submissive. Generally speaking, dominants don’t wear collars; so it was my task to put as much symbolism into the pieces as possible. (Mated Dragons shown below)  Both collars have a core of very soft black leather, which matches perfectly with the Dragon Fabric and gives the pieces a formal look.  He chose red crystals and she chose black, so there would be an immediate visual difference no matter what else I did.

 

I always start by finding a good dragon face to display near the ring. For her, I chose the front facing dragon.

It looks you straight in the eye.  For him, I chose the profiled face—looking away in submission. You will also see his underside
and a shadow of him on his back on the dominant’s collar.  I placed the red crystals to simulate fire coming from the profile face,
then made a mirror image with the black crystals. Take a close look and you will see that the last red crystal points down and the

last black crystal points upward, further signifying his submission and her dominance in the relationship. The picture was taken at a slight angle—the top of the D ring just hides the bottom edge of the collar.

 

I continued the theme on the leash. I made a straight line, starting and ending with a black crystal, enclosing the red and again signifying the dominance of the black over the red.

 

I am very pleased with the result, and so was the buyer.

The Mated Dragons

The same client came back to me a couple months later to purchase a gag.
Below is the picture of the final result.
I used the same dragon profile in reverse, 8 red and 8 black crystals.
For the gags, however, I have purchased regular rolling buckles.
I see no need for these to be locked, and it becomes a matter of safety.
Non-locking means it can be removed quickly in distress.
